Your build stays on your phone
This policy covers the Bities app. The planner on this website works the same way: it keeps your build in this browser and opens your own email app to send it.

It covers the Bities app for Android and explains what happens to the information you enter in it.

What this notice covers
The notice covers the app on your phone: the parts and prices, the builds you plan, saved builds and the ways the app hands a build to you to send.
When you write to or call us, what you send is handled as described in the section on how we use a build.

The parts and prices in the app
The uses, part tiers, extras, services, prices and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and do not reveal anything about you.

The build you plan
The use, the parts, the extras and services, pick-up or delivery, the day you ask for, a build name and your notes form the build. The app keeps the build you are working on, and the builds you save, on your phone.

Your name and contact details
To let us reply, a build can include your name, your business name, a phone number and an email address. You type them yourself; only the way of replying you choose is needed.

Address for a delivery
If you ask for delivery, the build includes the address and neighbourhood you type. They stay on your phone until you send the build.

Where your data is stored
Everything you enter is stored in the app's private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.
Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup.

No account, no cloud copy
The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

What the app does not collect
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

No internet access
The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

Sending a build by email
When you tap Email, the app opens your own email app with the build written in it and addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you press send there, and from then on the email is handled by your email provider.

Calling us
When you tap Call, the app opens your phone app with our number filled in. The call is made only if you start it.

Sharing or copying a build
Share opens the Android share sheet with the build, and Copy puts it on the clipboard. Where it goes next is your choice.

How we use a build you send
A build you send reaches us through the channel you used. We use it to prepare a quote with the exact parts, price and date.
Ask us directly how long we keep messages and builds.

If you order the computer
If you order the computer, the order, payment, warranty and delivery are agreed with you directly. The app is not used for that.

Your old computer and data transfer
If you ask for data transfer, how your old computer and its files are handled is agreed with you before the work. The app never reads files from any computer.

Your choices and rights under Colombian law
You can edit, duplicate or delete saved builds at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone.
Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012) you can ask BITIES S.A.S. to know, update, correct or delete the personal data you sent, and you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. Send such requests to [email protected].

Changes and contact
If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
